London: England allrounder Andrew Flintoff could miss the third Test on the forthcoming tour of India to attend the birth of his second child, a tabloid reported on Sunday.

Ashes hero Flintoff’s wife Rachel is due to give birth on March 20 ? five days before the match in Mumbai begins.

England are scheduled to arrive in India on February 13 and play three Tests and seven one-dayers during their visit till April 15.

The 28-year-old will speak to the team management before deciding whether ? like Andrew Strauss in Pakistan ? to fly home and return for the one-dayers.

Flintoff said on Sunday: “I’ll have to speak to them before any announcements or decisions are made.”
